Agreement

By calling Appliance Doctor DMV LLC, submitting a service request, or accepting our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms govern the relationship between you (the "Customer") and Appliance Doctor DMV LLC ("we," "us," or "our") regarding appliance repair services.

If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

Services we provide

Appliance Doctor DMV LLC provides residential appliance repair services in the DMV (Washington D.C., Maryland, Virginia) metropolitan area. Our services include diagnosis, repair, and consultation for major household appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, ranges, microwaves, and garbage disposals.

We service most major brands. We reserve the right to decline service for any appliance, brand, or situation we deem outside our area of expertise or operationally unsafe.

Scheduling and service area

Service appointments are scheduled subject to availability and our service area coverage. We will confirm your appointment via phone, email, or SMS before our visit.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 4 hours' advance notice. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a service fee on subsequent appointments.

Estimates & pricing

We provide upfront pricing whenever possible. A flat service-call fee may apply for diagnosis, which will be applied toward the cost of repair if you proceed.

We will provide a written or verbal estimate before performing any repair work that exceeds the service-call fee. You must approve the estimate before we proceed.

Our promise: If we cannot fix your appliance for a reasonable cost compared to replacement, we will tell you honestly. No upselling, no surprises.

Warranty

We warrant our parts and labor for 90 days from the date of repair. If the same issue recurs within the warranty period, we will return to address it at no additional cost for parts or labor related to the original repair.

The warranty does not cover:

Manufacturer warranties on parts may extend beyond our 90-day warranty in some cases. Where applicable, manufacturer warranty terms apply.

Payment

Payment is due upon completion of service. We accept cash, major credit and debit cards, and approved electronic payment methods. Service-call fees are due even if you decline the recommended repair.

Past-due accounts may be subject to late fees, collection costs, and reasonable attorney's fees as permitted by law.

Communications and SMS

By providing your phone number to us — whether through a phone call to our business, our contact form, or otherwise — you agree to receive communications from us related to your service inquiry, including SMS messages where applicable.

Limitation of liability

Our liability is limited to the cost of the repair services performed. We are not responsible for:

Disputes

If you have a concern with our service, we encourage you to contact us first to resolve the issue directly. We will work in good faith to address legitimate concerns.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. Any legal proceedings related to these terms or our services will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction within Maryland.
